CSA Stands for Community Supported Agriculture CSA allows families to have direct access to high quality, fresh food which is raised or grown locally by regional farmers.
When you become a member of a CSA, you’re purchasing a “share” of food from a regional farm. The farm will deliver that share to a convenient pick up location at scheduled intervals.
CSA members pay for an entire season of product upfront or by installments. The early bulk payments enable the farm to plan for the season, purchase new seed, make equipment repairs, and more.
Commonly, basic shares usually include 7-10 types of vegetables, enough for a small family. Most CSAs also offer premium shares for larger households. Some farms also offer CSA's that contain meat and/or fruit.
Shares need to be picked up by 6 P.M. on the day of delivery!
If you can’t pick-up your share, call the store before 6:00pm. We might be able to hold your share until the next day, if we have space. If you don’t call, we won’t hold it.
Old Barn Hollow is proud to offer two different CSA's,
